In my previous blog I wrote about Kruimeltje, the little boy who lives in Watoto Wema in Nairobi, Kenya. Kruimeltje inspired us and his beautiful photo ended up in an inspiration set that we use for training, workshops and one-on-one coaching. A small amount of each set we sell goes to Net4kids. It is also prominent on my desktop. Every day I am reminded that not only do we work to make money, but we also have a moral obligation to give back and make the world a little bit more beautiful.
In our company, Bluefoot Family, we believe in a world of together, because in the end we are all family. That is why we also support Net4kids, financially, but also with time and knowledge. And we get a lot in return. But of course we mainly do it for children like Kruimeltje. By using Kruimeltje as a business tool, we raise more money, so that more children have the opportunity to find a safe place to learn and grow.
