Exactly a year ago we wrote about Lilima, a former Rainbow Homes girl, who had a violent childhood. We wrote how well she is now and that she has found a job in a restaurant (Dear Donna, Qutub in Delhi). She started as an assistant to the chef and soon became a junior chef.
Lilima hasn't been idle in the past year. After gaining a lot of experience as a junior chef, she now joins Masterchef India! Watch the impressive video of how Lilima started as a 'waste collector', was rescued from the situation by the Rainbow homes and is now 'Chef Lilima'.
