Social entrepreneurship is just like commercial entrepreneurship; delivering solutions to customers and thereby creating a revenue model. However, someone who does business in a social way creates added value for society, which Net4kids invariably refers to as 'impact', and we fully support this.

Impact

We are Marcel van der Schaaff and Floris Mutsaerts, entrepreneurs and ambassadors of Net4kids. During this Round Table meeting we want to inspire other entrepreneurs to also create impact. How can you contribute to a better world with your company? And what does it contribute to your business? Commercial entrepreneurship and having an impact go hand in hand, we believe that everyone who does business can do 'good' with it.

The speakers

We want to show you that there are many possibilities to implement your CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy. We do this on the basis of special speakers such as Ed Monchen, CEO iPlusSolutions, who has made a switch in his career to a form of entrepreneurship in which he has more impact. And we speak with Loek van den Boog, chairman at General Atlantic and founder of Net4kids, one of the embodiments of this subject in the Netherlands.

Ed-Monchen

Ed Monchen - CEO i + Solutions

Ed Monchen is CEO of i + solutions, an independent non-profit organization specializing in pharmaceutical supply chain management for developing countries.

“I believe in innovation and entrepreneurs who go the extra mile to set up sustainable companies. But also in the power of goal-oriented organizations to solve our major challenges! ”

Loek van den Boog - Chairman General Atlantic Netherlands and Founder Net4kids
What if every company invested 1% of its sales in the next generation? Loek van den Boog takes us to the argumentation of the plea that companies that do good are actually more successful.

"Companies that do well are more successful." Loek van den Boog talks about entrepreneurship, philanthropy and how business should play a greater role.

Net4kids is the children's aid organization for companies. Believing that children all over the world are the next generation that we all have to deal with, she offers these children opportunities to develop. It does this by connecting companies in the Netherlands with appropriate, concrete initiatives in Africa and Asia. Net4kids combines a business approach with emotional involvement and transparently implements the CSR policy of companies that put this topic high on the agenda.
