James becomes famous

The kids of Watoto Wema Center were just a bit impressed by the Net4kids 'film crew' last fall. Presenter Dolores Leeuwin, cameraman Niels Ruitenbeek, photographer Hugo Lingeman and our colleagues Thomas & Sandra visited the center in Nairobi for a few days, where such a wonderful work is being done in the reception, guidance and development of very vulnerable children who otherwise had no chance of education, health care, let alone a safe environment to grow up. The stories of the kids are particularly inspiring and thanks to Dolores & Niels are beautifully captured in a video report.

And this report will premiere on June 5 in Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam. What a moment. Also for James. Because James is one of the kids whose story is in the spotlight. His open, cheerful and, above all, determined personality has already brought him to the point where we would not be surprised if he really does become famous.

For us he is already a celebrity, and soon for everyone who comes to watch on June 5th! Would you like to get to know James a little bit? Then check out the sneak preview video.

Would you like to attend the documentary in Pakhuis de Zwijger on Wednesday 5 June? Put this date in your agenda quickly, the official invitation will follow soon!
