The period around childbirth is especially vulnerable for mothers and newborns in Tanzania. Proper guidance and medical checkups are not always available, which means complications are sometimes detected too late. With this package, a mother and her baby receive the care they need right after birth. In total, we need twenty packages to give every mother in this program a safe start.
With your contribution of €50, a nurse can visit a mother and her baby, carry out health checks, provide guidance on nutrition and hygiene, and identify complications at an early stage. This support gives families peace of mind and ensures a healthy start in the important first weeks after birth.
