Net4kids team members Annelieke Brackel, Anke van den Boog, and Sandra Kooijman visited India, a country full of contrasts and challenges, but also with unprecedented opportunities, together with a group of investors. During this inspiring project trip, one question was central: how can we make a difference for vulnerable children together?
Experience real impact
India is a country where economic growth and poverty go hand in hand. In the metropolises, we see a rapidly growing middle class and impressive technological developments, but at the same time, a large part of the population lives in poverty. For millions of children, this means a daily struggle for access to education, basic services, and a safe environment.
Our projects in India focus on creating lasting impact. For instance, Net4kids invests in initiatives that lift children out of disadvantaged situations and help them reach their full potential. During the trip, we not only heard inspiring stories of hope but also saw with our own eyes how the support from our investors changes lives. An example of this is the collaboration with local partners who provide children with a safe place, set up educational programs, and develop skills that prepare them for a better future. We also met young people who, thanks to these projects, are able to pursue their dreams and now serve as role models for their communities.

What makes this trip extra special is the enthusiasm of our partners and the commitment of our investors, who accompanied us during this visit. Together, we not only saw the impact of ongoing projects but also explored new opportunities to offer even more young people a promising future. This trip has once again confirmed how important these collaborations are for achieving sustainable change. India is a country full of challenges, but also a country full of hope and potential. The children we met here reminded us why we do what we do: making a better future possible for those who need it most.

Net4kids offers (potential) investors a unique opportunity to see firsthand how the local project organizations operate. The goal of such a trip is to provide an educational and inspiring experience and to demonstrate how Net4kids offers disadvantaged children a more promising future. With the participants' contributions, Net4kids gains the opportunity to monitor and showcase our projects locally, enabling us to create the greatest possible impact with low organizational costs.
