During the Impact Fair 2025, Net4kids spent three days right in the middle of a world full of engaged entrepreneurs, interested visitors, and changemakers. With our colorful stand and a rickshaw as an eye-catcher, we invited people to step into our world, both literally and figuratively. The activation at our stand – calling a local hero – gave visitors a unique opportunity to engage in conversation with changemakers from Africa and Asia. But the real highlight? The launch of our very first magazine during the Net4kids500 gathering: a tangible and inspiring result of our community.
On Thursday, April 3, members of our Net4kids500 gathered for a substantive and connecting session. Some members brought a guest – because, as Net4kids500 member Jaco Brussé aptly puts it: “Bring a friend to become a friend.” This is how our community grows in a natural and meaningful way. It was a moment to reflect on the impact we make together – as entrepreneurs with a heart for social engagement. The atmosphere was good, inspiring, and personal. After an inspiring talk by Micha van Hoorn (founder of Impact Fair), who spoke about the value of connection and how to truly bring together people with different backgrounds and interests, we proudly presented the very first Net4kids500 magazine. The magazine is full of stories from our Net4kids500 members and our projects. It is an ode to connection, engagement, and decisiveness. Or as we put it ourselves: a community of people who just started. Because they felt they could make a difference.
