How do you give social responsibility a place in your company? Many entrepreneurs want to contribute, but the choices are not always easy. What do you focus on? How do you ensure that an initiative fits your company? And how do you know if it makes a difference?
Please join us on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Net4kids brings a small group of entrepreneurs together in Valley in the Zuidas in Amsterdam. We share experiences, ask questions, and test ideas against each other. There is also room to consider what role you want to play as an entrepreneur, both within your company and in your private life.
The host is Marcel van der Schaaff, entrepreneur, Net4kids ambassador, and initiator of the Round Table. Through his investment fund, Carteman Ventures, he focuses on technology for energy, climate, and sustainability, among other things. Together with Net4kids, Carteman also supports the Safe Water Project in Tanzania, which provides local communities with access to safe drinking water. Marcel shares how he makes such choices and what he learns along the way.
Also Loek van den Boog, founder of Net4kids and Chairman at General Atlantic, joins us. He shares his perspective on entrepreneurship and philanthropy: how do you determine where you can contribute the most as an entrepreneur, and how do you make that involvement part of the way you work?
You don't need a fully developed plan. Whether you are already investing socially or are still looking for an approach that suits you and your company, you are welcome to join the conversation.
Will you join us? Send an email to annemarijn.bentum@net4kids.org to sign up. We keep the group small so that everyone can participate in the conversation.
