During our annual Investors Meet Up we bring the Net4kids network together. We share current developments within our projects and show how collaborations with companies develop in practice.
This year Delft Imaging Systems and TUI Care Foundation central. Two organizations from different sectors, each demonstrating from their own expertise how entrepreneurship and social impact can reinforce each other.
Delft Imaging Systems – technology and impact
Florent Geerts, Managing Director at Delft Imaging Systems, explains how Delft Imaging uses medical technology, AI, and diagnostic solutions to make high-quality screening and medical care accessible in places where access to care is not a given.
Delft Imaging works worldwide on medical solutions for, among others, population screening and diagnostics, even in countries where healthcare facilities are limited.
With that same commitment, Delft Imaging supports the via Net4kids Takoradi Educational Center in Ghana, where young people receive education, skills, and guidance to increase their chances of an independent future.
TUI Care Foundation – expertise from the tourism sector
Frank Oostdam, Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of TUI Care Foundation, shows how TUI leverages its knowledge, network, and position in the international tourism sector to create sustainable social impact.
Through the collaboration with Net4kids and local partner KOTO in Vietnam Young people gain access to training and job opportunities in tourism and hospitality. In this way, societal impact is directly linked to TUI's expertise and international network.
