We are thrilled to welcome Philomena Kafui Darku as our new Program Manager at Net4kids! Since January 2025, she has been part of our team, bringing extensive experience in program management, sustainability, and strategic partnerships. She will play a key role in guiding and strengthening our child aid projects in Africa and Asia. With her background in economic empowerment, financial literacy, and education, she is a perfect match for the mission of Net4kids.
An international background and a passion for development
Philomena has an impressive international career background. She studied Urban Environmental Management at Wageningen University & Research, completed a Master’s in Indigenous Studies at the University of Tromsø in Norway, and earned a Bachelor’s in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana. Over the past six years, she has been dedicated to financial inclusion and economic empowerment programs in Africa at Aflatoun. In this role, she collaborated with over 90 local NGOs and various governments, working on national integration strategies and capacity building.

As Program Manager, Philomena is responsible for overseeing 25 projects across 9 countries, working closely with local partners and companies within the Net4kids network. With her expertise and energy, we continue to build sustainable partnerships that truly make a difference.
